Harris those wheels look good on your ride. Are you planning an altitude adjustment?

Yeah...I gotta get the front end down some, then I can lower the back. Right now the 4x4 look just isn't cutting it!

On my '77 I cut 1/2 of a round of coil off the front springs and it gave me alot lower stance in the front' around 1 1/2" drop

I put Energy Suspension Polygraphite bushings and endlinks on it when I rebuilt the front along with all new balljoints before I ever put the engine in it, so i really don't have anything to base it off of. It really handles great compared with another 2nd gen I drove once. The tires on the front are 205/60-14's, that's why there's still all that space above em and the fender, with a 15" tire it would fill it in nicely tho.The swaybar off a T/A is bigger than the ones on the '77s, so you can improve handeling by getting one, camaro's are 15/16" and the T/A's are 1 1/8". SHHH, I ain't one to gossip, so you didn't hear that from me:DI highly recomend buying lowering springs for the rear tho

It's early and I haven't had my coffee but how do you buy lowered leaf springs?
I have air shocks on my car and they're pumped up a bit much. Reminds me of my high school days shiftin

I believe edelbrock, landrum, and Afco has springs that will lower 2nd gens. Go to Nasty's suspension section and look there

Harris it's all in the arch of the leaf. Any good spring shop can build springs according to how you want the car to sit. people will have them rearched to bring a sagging vehicle back up to factory specs.

LMAO well that is no fair!
You know the car that sold on ebay did not even have teh engine from the movie .... and it still went for $40,000.00. I saw it before they posted that it did not have the engine from the movie . It was up to $60,000.00 but they had to repost it.

Actually, no car from the movie had that engine. All three of the '77s they built had crate 350s. The big block with the fuel injection was a prop.
I watched the auction for the $40k car. Unbelievable. I'm glad I have a total investment of just under 1/10th that amount into mine!

Yeah no kidding the Cube prop sold for $40,000.00 Too lol .
I know the engine was a prop but noone knew that when the 1st auction was set up lol.
I was hoping 70 1/2 - 81 camaros would sky rocket in price after tranformers came out but they are about the same.
You should put your can on ebay just to see what you can get for it.. DON"T SELL IT THOUGH =p.

We us Big Moe across from Six Flags to de-arch our 2nd gen rear springs. It makes a big difference in ride height without changing the ride quality.Beershiftin
