1994 Camaro Z28 convertible, polo green w/ black top
55,500 miles (original)
auto transmission
Tan cloth interior (very good condition)
am/fm/cassette
Silver ZR1 rims (new)
Khumo ASX 275/40-17 tires (new)
new ceramic brakes (all around)
new rotors (all around)
new front hubs
new tie rod ends (freshly aligned)
new DS window motor
The car is in good condition and runs fine. I am the third owner, bought it from my brother in law. It would be a really good opportunity for some gearhead to fix the minor things it needs that I can't seem to get done.
Things that need attention, as listed:
- SES light comes on intermittently. Was told it was the air pump circuit. Doesn't affect performance and had planned to remove the AIR system anyway since I live in a non-emissions area.
- ABS light on, brakes perform fine. Suspect poor connection to the differential plug.
- Coolant level sensor comes on occasionally, mechanic verified the system is full. Recommend a new coolant sensor, part new in box in the car.
- Needs intake gasket replaced (common LT1 issue)
- Needs a new PS window motor, running slow. I might be changing that out myself if I have the time.
- Paint overall is in good condition with spidercracks on the bumpers (typical for the age of the car). There is a paint touch up job on the left front fender that needs to be attended to (BIL's fix).
- Still having an intermittent shimmy when the car is first rolling, but irons out after driving. Have had the tire assemblies balanced countless times. Could be a rim, could be something else.
I am asking $5500 for the car firm. I have more than that in it, and the price is well under resale due to the minor tweaks it needs. More pics of the car can be sent if needed. PM me or email through the site. The car is clean, under the covers snugly in my garage in Rincon, GA near Savannah.
