Cruise to the Falls - October 6th (rain date Oct 27th) Initial meet-up at Publix shopping center, Riverstone Pkwy, Canton GA. (Po-Boy's cruise-in location). We will meet opposite the Belk's store out towards Riverstone Pkwy (near the banks) at 2:30pm, wheels roll at 3:00pm. Others may join cruise at Talking Rock as we come through at approximately 3:30pm or meet us at the Extra Parking (upper) lot at the lodge at top of the falls. It is also suggested that those that have two-way radio's may want to bring them along so that we can stay in contact during the cruise (we will be using channel 22).

We are planning on having supper at the restaurant located at the lodge. Our reservation will at 5:15 p.m. They have a Prime Rib buffet on Saturday's from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m . priced at $15.95 plus tax and tip; they may add gratuity depending on size of our group. Children are $7.95. Seniors get 10% discount. In addition for those interested rooms are available to stay overnight at the lodge. Standard rooms are $109.00 to $199 depending on size, beds, and location. Cottages are available in limited numbers @ $109.00 to $159.00. All rooms are non-smoking. I think that this is a great idea Greg. Many thanks to Ron for doing the planning! I would like to spend the night, but I'm reluctant to make a reservation until I know that I won't be the only one staying overnight. It would be neat to have breakfast together the next morning and then caravan back as a group!:cool:

i want to let yall know if anyone is planning on hauling trailers yall are welcome to leave them at either my house or my in laws house. i live right off of hwy 515 pretty close to talking rock so whoever will be coming from that direction can meet up with me. and my in laws live right off of 515 too, but they live closer to Ball Ground.

Hi everyone --- Susan and I drove up to the Falls yesterday and here's the update.
1. I have reserved us space for 20 at 5:15 pm on October 6. We will have the corner by the window with a great view of the mountains set aside for us. I can always modify the number but wanted to lock us in for a busy night. Please post an update of your party's size. Thx. Remember there is park admission charge if you don't have Ga Park Pass.
2. As you know, it is Prime Rib Buffet night. And an A La Carte Menu will also be available.
3. Prices for the buffet, including tax, but excluding tip are as follows:
Adults - $17.06, Senior Adults (62+), $15.35, Children $8.53. I told the manager we would prefer to leave our individual gratuity rather than have it added in.
4. Beverages: Coffee, tea, water are no charge. Soft drinks are extra - $1.75. Domestic Beer - $3.00. Imported Beer - $4.00. Wine by the glass - $4.50 to 6.25.

hey guys bad news i may not make it up to the falls :( my husband just decided to tell me the other day that he will be changing out the motor in the camaro that weekend. so unless he gets it done in 1 day i wont make it. but it should be done by the canton cruise in, i want to go to that one since it'll be the last one for the year. he wants to go ahead and get it done before the moultrie trip so we are going to moultrie cause we already have our spots. so i hope to see yall at Canton and Moultrie!
