hey Kenny, I met you a new member earlier today, his name is Tom, he drives a 99 Z28 , seems like a good guy. Gave him a card and he said he would post up soon. He was at the chevy dealer, his mom was looking a a new malibu , while i was lookin at a new vette. He's looking for a camaro club to join. I know you all will , but give him a good ole southern welcome. He will probably come to the sonic cruise in also. He travels alot like i do, but he lives in Decatur. I will be over in Huntsville this evening for dinner, yell at me, you got my cell. DC
if i catch up with that lil girl in the black 69, that will be another member too.

I headed out to see about it, saw the rain in front of me and said to heck with a turd gen, if its there tomorrow, I will get some pics , price for you. It is a private individs , in a parking lot. If not there tomorrow, i'm sure it will be there monday.
Its the black with red graphics if i remember right, looks real good going by , I believe it had $5000. on the window
there are several ta's arond here for sale, NO, against my religion to look at them .....

Greg, has Kenny got any camaroz cards, I'm out and as many of these camaro owners over here as I talk too, would like to hand them a card. Theres a big park where alot of street rods hang out on the weekends, saw several maro's as I drove by last night, plus a big cruise in here next weekend at sonics.
Also, got a job offer in Memphis coming up in a couple months.

Thanks for the compliment. ;) I sold it before I moved up in November to a RCFB member who tried to sell it for a 2.5K profit due to it's immaculate condition. From what I understand he still has it.

Pontiacs styling has always been a bit "flamboyant" vs the basic clean lines of Chevy. I guess more plastic is used to acheive those looks.

DC, I've also heard and witnessed both fbody factions banter about superiority. Moreover, the LS1 vs. LT1 banter can be fun. People who are belligerent about it can be tiresome. I appreciate both fbodies for what they represent, American GM Muscle that kicks azz. shiftin

'Chick'...... very well put! I've been monitoring this 'banter' and wasn't going to add my 28 cents worth.... but.... can't restrain myself any longer........
Being an 'old guy' I experienced the Chevy/Pontiac original muscle cars firsthand (had a new '63 Chevy Impala SS, 350hp 327ci 4spd followed by a new '64 GTO 348hp 389 ci 4spd). Enough to say that as good as the SS was (2nd place Winter Nationals '64) the GTO would have killed it and killed it dead! As far as Camaro vs Firebirds.... the original Firebird was a better performing car than the Camaro (thanks to Deloren... father of the GTO) due to changes in suspension items. That being said.... so why do I have an '02 SS and not a WS6? Because later in life the Firebird's used to much add-on plastic (for my taste) and I really never liked flip up (flop down) headlights...... well that's just one man's opinion........... we'll see what responses this invites......

personally i think the the 3rd and 4th gen Formulas are some of the best looking F-bodies out there , and the 1992 Firehawk was the best looking 3rd gen period.
