Hi all! Thanks for the warm welcome! I finally met torval at Carlisle:eek:.... so I figured I should drop by and say howdy.
Yup, that's the one. Kinda dusty in the pic though... been working off little annoyances over the last few days. Getting better considering it was in pieces about 3 months ago.. LOL's. But still a long way to go....

Found a not so dirty pic that MadMike took on Saturday morning at Carlisle...

I drove it to work on Tuesday and the bookeeper asked to ride along to Curry's (local NAPA)... I romped it pretty good. Only thing she said was "Holy s***" while trying to hold on... lol! Still need more tire on the back though.... waaaaay too much wheelspin.

Gotta be talking about when we left the dinner and I goofed and bounced it off the 8k limiter:eek: ... motor only had about 160 miles on it at that point.. lol's. Left on the trip with maybe 6 miles on it... Woops:rolleyes:

Thanks to all for the kind words! Like I say, she has a way to go to be back to her former glory. I got about 5k miles out of the last motor... and it was professionally built. This one is all mine! From a bare block to zoom zoom.

Made me so mad I left it sit in the backyard for about 7 yrs. Most of the paint chips are from throwing beers at it... but we have pretty much made up now.

I think I was the only person at Carlisle with guages hanging out of the dash, clearcoat peeling and a headliner hanging down etc.. lol. She is definately a "10 footer". But we had a good time.

And BTW.... Stokkeland makes a pretty darn good cup of coffee:D

Funny part is... having served in the field artillery after I waived airborne... I actually know what "shot out" means.

Pretty accurate call actually... LOL!:D
