The sixth 2007 meeting of the Northside Chapter was held at Chili’s at the Mall of Georgia on Saturday June 16. And afterwards, a three-vehicle caravan motored up to Canton to participate in the monthly Po Boys Canton car show.
Attending were: Tom and Susan; Jim and Lynne; and DC from Valdosta, Georgia. It was reported, but not verified, that Bruce was attending the Year One Bash.
Meeting topics included:
Tom showed new prototype caps and golf shirts that he had made up.
Jim reported that Greg has been reimbursed for his cash outlay for club supplies – thanks to Greg for fronting over $600 for the club’s benefit.
Jim distributed the new club business cards.
DC told the group the true meaning of "heavy lifting."
Tom shared pictures from The Gathering with the group.
Lynne and Susan displayed new outfits purchased just for this meeting.
DC showed the small group his post Texas deer collision modified (and since restored) z28 ragtop.
Next Meeting: The Northside chapter will meet at Chili’s, Mall of Georgia, 12 noon Saturday July 21. An alternate meeting place is being discussed for July. More on that later. Be sure to bring dues of $30 if not already paid up, or mail to Jim. The meeting at Chili’s adjourned at 2:00 p.m. and then two Camaros and one big truck drove to Canton. The car show attracted many types of cars.
