Southeast CamaroZ Meeting: Northside and Southside Combined Chapter 05-26-2007
The fifth 2007 meeting of the Northside Chapter was held concurrently with all statewide members and selected guests at the 11th annual "Gathering" over Memorial Day weekend in Marietta, Georgia.
Hundreds of Camaros were buffed and shined and looked great. What a show! At least 24 members and guests from our club attended all or parts of the three-day Gathering.
Attending were (and some may have been omitted, let me know): Greg and his spouse; Larry; Dean; Tom; Bruce (representing two clubs actually); Jim and Lynne (with his mountain edition Camaro in primer camo); Zach and Jeff (and his "new" black z28 with his financial rep aka Bank of Dad); Jennifer( two-fisted Camaro fan); Stephen; Kenny and Princess (Ala. Chapter); Rodney; Marcus; Steve; Kris and lady friend; Ron and Cheryl.
Meeting topics included:
logo finalized and shown on club banner
several members assisted with event judging
bylaws (no update)
dues ($30.00/year included tee-shirt distributed at gathering
membership cards and business cards (still waiting for shipment)
discussion of possible new chapters included Alabama – Kenny; South Carolina – pending; North Carolina – pending; North West Georgia – pending; Florida – pending.
Club supper at the Oliver Garden attending by nine members and guests
Prototype Camaro rag top was on display in the hotel ballroom; many pix taken
