Speakin of quick, we had fun slingshotting a few curves together, put the energy suspension poly bushings and Hoosiers to work for 1st time in prob 2+ years. Advantages of living here; no houses, lots of curves, NO traffic:D

Ryan lives in Decatur. If you don't get a chance to get the clutch done by the time you have to leave he'll do it for you when you get here, would even pick it up where you're staying and bring it back same day while you're at work.

Exactly what all do you want done? He does alot of hi-po street stuff that R&R Speed and Machine gets in like that. They really only deal with big number HP, they send alot of the other to Ryan's shop. He's real meticulous with all his work, degrees every cam installation, clays pistons, etc.

I'm not really too keen on late model stuff myself. I believe you'd start out with an upgrade on the ignition, fuel injectors, cold air intake. I hear just upgrades to the bolt ons make good power differences on those engines. Let this thread ride a few and I bet we'll find out alot from the other guys who has more knowlege on them than I do. I'll call Ryan and see what he thinks

He says that alot of people are having the stock heads cnc'd, since they already are alum and a good design. What he does is send off the stock ones and they send a pair they've already done, kinda like a core exchange. It would be better to have it ll done at once ( cam n clutch ) labor wise. Hot ignition, throttle body, injectors, cam, etc may give you the diff you are looking for without doing the heads. He's got a new scantool that reprograms the computer, checking to see if he has the right chip for your car, I'll get back to you

Doing a cam , pushrods, rockers, headers airlid should get you over 400hp next to make it all sound GREAT is GMMG Chambered Exhaust:cool:

There you go Kenny, you heard the man, see if Ryan can handle it , when , how much , how quick can he get on it and how long will it take. I will be there july 25th, probably trailor it there so I will have my pick 'em up to get around in. I want to go with a decent size cam to get some lobe out of it , not too choppy but discernable. ( hows that for a word?). Someone throw out a size I'm lookin for.

I'll call him today. We really get into cam specs keeping the car's usage, trans, weight in mind. Being street driven we'll look at some good low end torque keeping cams that will also get you up on the #'s up high. What gear you running now?
