That was a fun run. The car was on 93 octane gas with 8 lbs of boost. Max boost is 21 lbs. The car weighed 3,800lbs with me in it. Everything was still hooked up,A/C,PS/Cruise Control and, was on street tires. The car was driven back from the track in South Carolina to Lawrenceville and,got about 18mpg on the trip back. Steve will have the car at The Gathering.:D

Rod exagerates a bit, it was running between 10 & 12 lbs of boost on ET Streets and the car weighed 3,900 lbs with him in it. Everything else was about right.

What it really needs is a 2 step to spool the turbos on launch, the 60 ft. times were soft because your leaving on motor only. Bottom line is I can't afford to replace the motor, transmission or rear end at this point in time. So, setting the car on full boost in "kill" mode to see what it would do is not an option.

It's wicked fast like it is for a street car. Durability outdoes speed any day. Is it exhaust driven or belt? 70 496 and I killed a 389" ford 2 years ago at the ORSCA finals in Hsv with a Garret piece. Let go at 8200 in 2nd gear with around 14lbs on top of nearly 13-1 compression:eek: . It pushed a JE around the rod cause the JE Pro pin sheared. Could see the cam on the drivers side and it knocked the starter off the left. Hard to believe a Manley alum rod did all that. Yours is still the quickest I've seen ( street 4th Gen )

It is an exhaust driven twin small turbo street car that is driven to work on nice days. The car can be driven on the Power Tour with little or no problems. This is a fun, fast, street car.:D

They're T60 Turbonetic turbo's. The person with the Mustang was running 13:1 compression, wow that's seems like a ton for a boosted car. Maybe that's why it gernaded? I think mine is around 8:1.

Began life as an oxide motor. Had Yates heads & 6" rod. Heads had virtually no c chambers. Had 10 slugs cut by JE, was the deepest dishes poss. Got turbo for nothin. Got blowthru carb straightened out with Extreme Velocity hat. Died on 1st pass. oops
