Blake.... my son and I are very interested in how you make out with the LS7 clutch. Specifically how it feels and how the shop handled the job for you. My son is thinking of doing the same thing to his '02. Stay in touch....
OBTW.... don't know what your plans are for this Saturday (June 20th) but the Canton (NW) Chapter will be meeting for our lunch meeting at 2:00 pm at the PoBoy's cruise-in on Riverstone Pkwy (exit 20 I575) Canton. As usual we will stay for the cruise-in. Join us if you can.......

well i got my car back yesterday. i had lamar walden in doraville put the new ls7 clutch in. so far the clutch seems to be great. i gotta break it in a little but so far it seems to have near the stock clutch feel. im gonna drive it to north GA this weekend to see some family so i will keep yall posted so i wont be able to make it to year one or the canton show. Ron i spoke to robby walden and they love this clutch and it use it alot. give them a call and im sure this will be the clutch they suggest for your son. Oh and i just got my my new windshield put in. now the only thing i need it the top refrigerant line. tried to weld the line shut but i guess the aluminum is so thin it blew the weld right off. so if anyones got an extra lying around let me know

I have been running the LS7 clutch disc and pressure plate with the LS2 C6 Corvette flywheel for the last 2 1/2 years or about 65,000 miles...no problems with it...good manners and feels like a stock clutch...it will hold the HP/TQ much better than the old LS6 clutch .. it is not the clutch to use if your going to the track but it is a good street clutch and the price is nice compared to a aftermarket race clutch...:D
