Southeast CamaroZ Meeting: Northside Chapter 03-17-2007
The third meeting of the Northside Chapter was held Saturday, March 17 at Chili's at the Mall of Georgia. Six members and one guest attended.
Attending were:
President Gregg, Member Ron, Scribe Tom, Sgt at Arms Bruce, Treasurer Jim, and VP Larry. Also attending was the lovely lady from North Georgia, Miss Lynne.
The meeting started in the parking lot and Camaro related discussion lasted about 30 minutes. Five Camaros were parked in a row: two seriously modified rally red rag tops flanking two navy blue SS's surrounding one lone sunset orange z/28. Nice sighting of five attractive 4th gens.
Inside the meeting topics included:
logo (still working on modifiyng version 14)
bylaws (still revising roles of officers, general language)
dues (waiting on getting our TIN to formalize process)
membership cards and business cards (waiting for logo to be finalized)
meeting sites and location of functions (Northside meeting will remain "as-is" with all-chapter events to mesh with cruise-ins and shows)
no report on the go-kart palnned activity
much discussion on club marketing once we obtain marketing tools(flyers, sign, business cards, etc.)Next Meeting: Chili's at 12 noon sharp Saturday April 21st, immediately followed by a cruise to Year One for start of summer weekend "Bashes." We want to get up to Braselton early enough to capture prized location parking to accomodate club cars. Be there early with us or park next to a ricer. The posted time for the Bash is 3pm to 9 pm, but we want to be there early.
