20/20 Report - Old tires being sold as new

A guy I know in Jax posted this link on a local board, info I was not aware of so thought I would share. There is a mandatory commercial to watch, but then the report kicks in.

Thanks Chick. I went out and checked mine and my passenger front is 1706 and pass rear is 1406. Something i noticed on my tires is that there are no numbers on my 2 right side tires. so im guessing they are all on the right side and right side only. I wasnt too concerned about my tires because the F1 GSD3's are still a little young to the market. My wifes truck is what im concerned about however. They are cheap tires and if she does have a blowout itll effect her WAY worse than it would me because of her sidewall being much bigger.

I have the F1 GSD3 on my 85 IROC, they are directional and that is why the DOT# are on the outside on 2 and inside on other 2.

No problem. Haven't had time to verify the vert's tires yet. Bob and I installed a new garage door opener, helped our neighbor install a fuel pump on his Sonoma, and then mowed the lawn. It's not like I drive it anywhere anyway, it's under the covers right now. ;)

Went out and checked the ones we just bought. All looks good:).
