Where do you live?? Do you know where Athens is? If you are coming down hwy 72 from Madison toward Athens, you will go past the Wal-Mart and go under the train overpass then take a right at the red light at Burger King. That will bring you right down to the Square :)

and once again...... i have to work. i don't get off until 5:30 , and with it being 90+ degrees outside , i'm going nowhere until i get a shower!. i by some strange chance i get out of work early enough i'll cruise up, but it doesn't look good......

Lil, what's the set up on this? Does everyone just park, or is it set up so people ride around the square? I'll be rolling in around 7:15-7:30 if all goes as scheduled. Which ride are you bringing? I would like to park close to you if possible.

Cruise ins around here last til 9:00, and people are usually 9:30 before everyone is gone.

I parked on the opp side of court house beside that black '81 Berlinetta with the TT IIs.

The guy in the old car sitting on the end of the courthouse stopped and talked, thanked me for coming, should've seen the look when I told him I came from New Market! We discussed how the CIs around here do it. The air just starts getting good around 7:30-8:00, 9:00 is another option to look into. You could look into getting a reg. tent and give each car a diff # and do door prizes. Cafe' 302 gives out $1 boxes of candy.I've won any thing from junior mints to WD40, screwdriver, tool box, etc. Alot of car related items are availible at Dollar General for under $3 like a large car wash bucket for $1.25 and the big bone shaped sponge the same. If you all decided to do something like that i'd be willing to bring in 5 or more items myself to give away. If yall could ralley a few more people into spending $10 there would be more than enough to begin doing it.

That event is going to be discussed at the next meeting and I'm hoping to get a few guys commited to going every month and set up a canopy with the club banner hanging on it if that would be ok.

The cruisin around the Athens Square will be Friday, Aug 1 from 5-9. The resturants around the square will be open and LiVicie's will have a special on their catfish plate!! YUM YUM!!!!shiftin
