not going in to drive.

i have a 86 z with a th350 tranny, i redone the shifter and put in a new b&m modulator valve and it still wont go into drive, it goes into reverse fine and moves, any input will help so i dont have to get a new tranny, any ideas will help, thanks.

Are you saying you did these modifications and then it wouldn't go into "D", or that it just went out and these are the only mods you have done in the past??

Will the shifter it's self go into the D position? If so you may have a valve slide sticking in the valvebody. I really need more info on what it's doing, but th350's are bad about sticking

it went into drive after the mods and then it wouldnt so i put in the new modulator and checked vacum, the shifter goes into drive, i readjusted it, i need to take off the pan and look at the valve body.
