Here's a short crappy video of the vert's progress we took yesterday. I promise I didn't see his leg in the door... :p It was much louder than the camera could record, need to remedy the 14" open gap where the cat was this week.

Eh, sounds like a girl's car...JK LOL!:D
Sounds pretty good, what exhaust are you putting under it? I'll be looking for an exhaust for mine soon. Thinking about true duals.

Sue, Bob, Ref your post in the welcome forum when I joined up: Did you guys have any major problems putting the BBK's in ? Also how do you plan on attaching your CAT. Cut your old one off the old Pipe and get it welded and fabricated to attach to the BBK's collector. Or are you going for an after market CAT. I'm still deciding over BBK or MAC ($$$) and either using my old one or buying a new high flow CAT. Bob D.

Thanks all, it's been a long time coming. Bob, I'm not crazy about the finish quality on these headers and there were a PITA to install. If I had it to do over again, I would have gone with the MAC's or Pacesetter Longtubes. There was a lot of removing parts for access, but it is survivable.
As far as the cat goes, I have a near new high flo that was welded into the old system that had to be cut out with the stock Y pipe (see pic below). This left a 13 3/8 inch gap in the tubing, and a very large puzzle to solve. As it is now I have no flange in the stock location for a bolt on catback. I'd really like a Hooker Aerochamber system. Gonna have to figure out my options. The Y can be catted, but it will have to be removable for access.

Just put you a pipe in thereand to heck with the Cat! Thats what I did with mine. Its got shorties, to a staight pipe that go to TWO, single chamber Flowmasters that turn out the side!

Buy a set of collectors and weld them up to the Y pipe and the cat. you may have to cut a little more off the existing pipe, but then when you get a cat back it will bolt up to the back of the cat. I have a MIG welder if you can weld, I'm not great at welding, it'd be ugly, but it won't leak

That's a nice setup Coprunr. Not many people run the 2OTL system either so it would be unique.
Just for reference, I ended up back at the muffler shop and had them weld the cat to the ypipe and slip fitted the stock exhaust side (since that's being replaced in the future with a catback system). It's a little louder than stock, but it pepped up the car quite a bit.
