Ok.. probably broing to some of you Sleepy Bored, but with what I went thru to put this D@#n carpet inBanghead, I feel like sharing the end result. I have only ever put one other carpet in a vehicle and it's my 91 Toyota 4X4 standard cab.. Not much of a challenge there:p.. lol..

Anywho.. lemme know whatcha think..

Old Carpet:

Hey Greg, thats not my car. Easy mistake though. He did a great job on the carpet install. I've never seen that approach with marking the bolt holes with a marker to cut out. I just left the bolts in and cut a X where I felt the head of the bolt. Those kick panels were a pain to get back in I bet. Like I said over at nasty, the pics of your car before looked great. I would have never thought the carpet looked like that. I guess you did need new stuff. That car is such a time capsule it deserved it.

"Never Mind"? geesh.. Thanks Greg..
lol.. J/K bud.. lol

Thanks fur the comments / complements guys! Makes all the agrivation I went thru worth it. :)

76zo6CAMARO = Thanks bro.. Yeah that SEM spary is AWESOME stuff.. :D

Damon23 = Yeah that old carpet still presented well while it was still IN the car. But once I got it out and compared it to the new one it was an AMAZING difference!! I had alot of folks tell me "You don't really need to replace that carpet, It's just a little faded".. I'm so glad I did though.
OH! and Damon, I used the marker to give me "Aproximate Location's" of stuff I had to cut. Some were actually a little off. Isoprophal Alcohol actually gets rid of any remaining marker lines. :D

00formula6spd = Thanks bud... I really like the Black and Tan interiors on these cars. :)

Zachs Bank = Thanks! and I'll let you know if I can make it down there before G12. It depends on what work will do to my schedule... shiftin

outlaw77LT = I appreceate that... The scary part is that it's almost all origional, cept the Carpet now and the door pulls (still GM though). :)
