Not that type but satisfying nontheless. I'm sure you all read the heater switch post I started. Well, it is fixed. Turns out the vacuum control switch that mounts to the back of the selector assembly was the culprit. I replaced everything, speed switch, blower motor relay, blower motor resistor, and blower motor along with a few fuses. A small victory and a lesson learned about the electrical part of the HVAC. I am going to redo the ground on the firewall as well as replace the single ground strap the car has. I may ad another just because. Anyway, I thought you would like to hear about a resolution to a problem.

Congrats buddy.. Glad you were able to finally get it resolved.. Some issues can make ya pull yer hair out and some are straight forward.. :P

Good news. Think of it this way...at least you know that everything else is in brand new condition. ;)

Tank and sending unit is on its way from NPD. Will probably be here Wednesday. The carb will be here Monday along with the new sill plates, shifter bezel, center caps, lock knobs, dash inlay, and dome light kit. That will rap up the interior. Next is paint, exhaust, brakes, tires, refinishing of the wheels, and a little tune up. After that should be miles of smiles.

Hope it all works out good for you. Everytime I did something nice to my car it would take a dump on me somewhere else on the car! Its fun though, like a puzzle!

Its true! Every time I painted it or got new wheels, something would mess up. It can be aggrivating at times but it can also be fun too.
